He was a bigger draw after the Canelo fight because a larger audience recognized his greatness ,GGG and Canelo both Gained popularity and public awareness,both proved their greatness against each other in classic elite fights. If GGG didn't prove himself the goods against Canelo he would lose popularity not gain.
