That's why GGG won? Even though Canelo landed the cleaner punches in almost every round, and proved to have better defense? Provable stats... The only two criteria that are up for debate are Ring generalship and effective aggression. I would gladly debate you on these two.
@IsaL the list is longer than that I have more names but we don't want Odin looking any more silly lol
Golovkin landed more and was the ring general in both fights. Their first fight Golovkin came forward reckless at times and Canelo was doing a marathon. The rematch Canelo came forward, was effective in spirts but GGG was picking him off. Yet people say GGG ran, he was in mid range throughout. Two close but very clear wins for Golovkin.
So what happens when one guy is hitting the other guy more often and much harder than he is getting hit? Wait, I know ... the guy from Guadalajara gets the benefit of the doubt ...
Like enjoying a bottle of wine, chilling with the dog watching Day of the jackal, whilst enjoying your self destruction......
Ummm no.. That's not how this works young lad. We use common sense, logic, and fact when debating, not your made up rules that don't make sense. In 2015 when Ward sent GGG a contract for a fight at 168 that would take place in 2016 with a 50/50 split, neither had had a PPV fight. In GGG's first PPV that same year, GGG sold between 97k and 150K PPVs, depending on what source you use, lets stick with 150K for arguments sake. In Ward's PPV fight the following year in 2016, he sold 160K - 165K PPVs, depending on what source you use. Anything that happened after 2016 is irrelevant.. Why? (I can't believe I have to explain this lol) Because the contact was given to GGG in 2015, for a fight in 2016. That GGG sold more PPVs in 2018 is completely irrelevant to the reason why GGG declined to fight Ward. Now, drop it son, there is nothing else to be said on the matter.
I'm making money, while owning a few GGGoons in between in beautiful Southern California. You're a drunk, hanging with the only friend who can probably stand you, wasting your time in front of the tele and internet, pretending your winning debates. Ah, sweet truth.
