Yes he was looking for a payday, which is why he was barking for that fight. Remember when Alvarez got stripped off the WBC Middleweight title and Golovkin gladly went and swallowed up yet another paper title?. Didn't he continue to beg Alvarez for a payday even after that incident?. If it's only titles he was seeking, surely he would have ignored Alvarez, no?. Moron.

Being 60 years old, you should know better than to bring "Moms" into a discussion. Then again, I don't expect any better from a scumbag that openly supports fighters that load up their gloves, call out smaller opponents and still struggle against them. Don't worry about my mom. In this part of the world, we are close to both our parents from the moment we are born, we regularly visit them regardless of age, support them and make sure they got everything covered indefinitely even if they didn't need it.

Yeah && GGG kicked his ass BOTH times but got screwed
Lara & Trout BEAT Canelo but Corruption saved his skin
Canelo is still today scared ****less to give GGG a level fight away from Vegas corruption. GGG offered him in MSG The Mecca of Boxing but The Red Roider wont leave Vegas

Thats it troll keep harping on the Loaded Gloves BS
Its the only excuse you can come up with why Mayweather & DelaHoya ducked Tony like the plague. Richardson's
blatant lie gave all the cowards an excuse not to have to fight him

Alvarez then beat Cotto and dropped the belt after his terrifying reign of trying to fight GGG at Canelo weight.

So effectively GGG cannot win can he?

    1. He tries to fight Cotto/Alvarez when they hold a 160 belt and he’s only trying to get a free payday.

    2. He never fought Cotto and spastics like you and the thread starter ask why he doesn’t have a Cotto on his resume like Canelo does, even though he wanted the fight before Canelo got it.

Cotto not wanting to face the legit champ at 160, forcing 160 guys to fight at catch weights in defence of said title and then facing Canelo at 155 is infact what you claim GGG was trying to do.

You cannot see this as you are blinded by irrational hate.

The entire boxing world was “barking”
for the fight. That’s why GGG Canelo sold the 3rd and 4th highest boxing gates in Vegas with both PPVs selling over a million in the streaming era. Lol

GGG was pretty much ducked by entire middleweight division in his early years as world champion. I remember how desperate Felix Sturm tried to avoid him.

Golovkin should have kidnapped Martinez, Sturm, Floyd, Chavez, Cotto, Canelo, Ward, Froch and taken them to fight in his secret underground lair! Only then would the OP give him credit for fighting guys that in many cases blatantly ducked him, when he tried to make a fight with them, in his prime. You can't cure stupid, folks.

lol@the idea of Golevkey getting a payday against Cotto.

As if Cotto would ever have given him a fair and even 50-50 split like Canelo and Ward did.

A Cotto fight would have earned GGG peanuts or at the least around the same he earned for the likes of Rubio and Geale.

How can that be true? It was well known at the time that Canelo got badly low-balled at the negotiation table and ended up only receiving a 25% cut of the total purse.

Cotto the challenger , took $7M compared to the $1M for Martinez the Champion.

So if a huge box office draw like Canelo can only get a 25% split , imagine what Cotto would offer GGG who was a box office flop.

But since Cotto represented no challenge whatsoever to GGG , im inclined to believe that he would've gladly took whatever money was on the table.

But Cotto was never ever going to fight Golovkin and anybody with half a brain knew it.

GGG only used used Cotto name so he could hide from Ward.

Funny and sad how GGG nutguggers bash past prime Cotto for avoiding GGG while at the same time pretending that GGG didn't do the exact same with Ward.

I could care less about the "entire world barking". His main interest was a payday and not unification.
