Why risk fighting other contenders for not much when you can crash a couple press confrences shout that you are the champ and everyone is ducking you like Mr T in Rocky 3 , have half a boxing fourm frothing at the mouth and say that the there should be a 50/50 split, get everything you want, put in a terrible performance and blame your toe, then, say that the other champ is ducking you and have half a boxing forum , that should know better agreeing with him.

People hate Dana White for some reason but he has the right way of doing things, the fighters and their promoters should not be in control of their carrers, the governing BODY (one) should be.

When you ask the fighters who do you want to fight it is mostly the weakest ones or ones they have a style advantage over, just like any other sport they should be a draw or single ranking sytem to dictate who fights who.

 

They don't hate him for controlling who fights who (because the one good thing about MMA is that a loss doesn't derail your entire career)


They hate him because he rapes their pockets like no other.
