well...as long as we're clear. you want him to jump through hoops because you don't like him &/or you harbour a weird personal grudge. good for you.

some people just want to see the best fights happen without all the dicking about.

i tend to call them boxing fans.

anyone who says he hasnt earned it is right. but no ones earns a shot in this day and age. best fight out there? yes.....should they have to give him every demand and every perk and every dime he wants because it is the best fight to be made? no. the fight should happen if he wants it but he wants more than what he is worth and at the end of the day its a business and they aernt going to overpay someone based on what he might do this time, what the fans think they should fork out since its not their money.
obviously you are a football fan...you saw what business decision was made with Peyton Manning....there was alot more people telling the owner to just "pay him" and it was no guarantee he would even play or be worth a **** again.... they dont run a business based on emotion....heres a deal, heres what we think is fair, take it or leave it....
and haye wont take 1 risk to take less than what he might think is fair to go in and kick his ass and be the shot caller from here on out...hes not willing to go for it....

Work his way up fighting who exactly?, if Mormeck got a title shot then Haye deserves it too. The division is THAT pathetic really. There's no one for him to "work his way up" against.

Lazy ass and he could have had just one fight against the like of Adamek even in the UK and since Adamek beat Arreola, Grant and good cruisers that now are good heavies, Haye would step in front of the line for any title shot. No Sir, he believes he doesn't have to break a sweat to get that pay check.

What i don't get is why so many want Haye to take this long route to a Vitali fight when

A, It means waiting much longer to see the fight as fans, which we have done enough of for big fights in recent years

B, They already know Haye wont come out of retirement for anything other than Klit fights

C, Vitali and Haye are clearly 2nd and 3rd in the division

D, The order of who is 2nd and 3rd is now very much up for debate

E, Vitali isn't getting any younger, the sooner the fight happens the better

    Not against Adamek he wouldn't...

Adamek would think he was "glassed" by the time Haye dropped some bombs on his ass. KO3

Nothing of the sort.. Surely you realise one fight against Vitali is less value than chisora and Vitali?:thumbsup

I want to see haye chisora first and then vitali.. What about this suggests I want haye to jump through hoops? I want more for my money and as a boxing fan I feel that if haye comes back to earn quick money we are again being robbed.

How is a fight with chisora and then vit dicking about:nut?

Grudge? No, just don't enjoy those whom think they can take the public for fools..

The people who want to see haye fight vit immediately I tend to call David haye fans;)

that's a grudge you mong. :patsch

"A persistent feeling of ill will or resentment resulting from a past insult or injury."

    :patsch

& seeing as how vitali is about to retire himself & there isn't really another decent fight for him anyway...i really don't see your point in any of the other stuff. you're just whining like a *****. get over it. you're supposed to be a boxing fan not a fan of boxers accountants.

    We have to ask ourselves

Do we want to see Haye fighting the likes of Chisora and Adamek for a year or two while Wlad/Vitali have to continue fighting people not fit to share the ring with them?

Why do you want to WAIT to see the best fight that can be currently made at HW...I thought people had had enough of waiting for fights that don't end up materialising while each man fights bums instead.

Yes but as I keep saying Haye's already had two title shots not and there are people like Fury and Chirsora, Povetkin etc. for him to fight.

Is it the best fight though? If Haye can't prove himself then obviously not.

Yes, but from what I've seen, and the controversy and backstory surrounding them, aswell as the clash of styles, this is the most exciting hw fight that can be made.

I agree. Arreola would be a dangerous test for him-if he gets by Chris then
    he's no.2 next to Vitali.

Vitali's last few opponents have been

Thomasz Adamek (who fought and beat fat 40 year old Kevin McBride before Vitali)

Odlanier Solis (who's previous fight was a DQ victory over 40 year old Ray Austin)

Shannon Briggs (previous fight vs 40 year old Rob Calloway - resulted in a TKO1)

And Albert Sosonowski, I can't even pronounce the name of the no-mark that he fought before getting his 'shot', but guess what, the guy was 40.

So please tell me where this toughman contest of gruelling challangers has come from that Vitali has had to fight, or would you wish him to take more fights against rickshaw-drivers and men who went life and death with doormen?

Haye did not get a shot against Vlad. He was the holder of a World Title, and it was a unification bout. He lost the fight, but basically left without a scratch. he was not dominated. Vlad did not want to engage him. Also, when Haye fought Valuev he was the undisputed Cruiserweight Champion. Haye is a Marquee fighter, and special priveleges are afforded to these guys. George was on another level than Haye, but did he earn the shot against Moorer? Hell No!
