That was a Unification Bout. Not a voulantary shot.

And even if it was, Wlad is not Vitali

    ...Apparently :think

Barrett got jack in that fight and stands to make twice as much against Cameron. He was also billed for his expenses in UK and mysteriously hounded several times in the early morning hours of the day of the fight. Awakened like 4 times by people banging on his door or walls while he was trying to sleep in preparation for the fight.

Barrett has said multiple times that had the fight been in America, he wouldv'e KTFO David Haye, and still wants this fight more than any other.

Haye ducked Chagaev as his WBA mandatory. That would be a start.

Adamek recenlty called out the princess and is willing to fight in his backyard.

The princess doesnt want to risk an L against a WARRIOR!

**** off nob, anybody can see that vitali is not retiring yet, David haye will not get him in the ring before novemberish so why not make a fight with someone else in between and give something to the fans..

As for a grudge, David has not personally caused insult or injury to me.. I just want him to give the fans something or just **** off for good. If that is classed as a grudge then so be it, at least it seems to excite a fellow mong:hi:

Naturally. Haye had April deadline to fight Chagaev and by WBA rules he could not enter any other fight negotiations past that deadline. WBA had to scramble and grant Haye "Super Champion" status so they could ran around their own mandatory rules.

Of course, Haye does not have to "work" to become a mandatory because he can get the fight with Vitali at any time if he agrees to the mandatory 70-30 split.

Adamek also beat a 34 y/o Michael Grant(who is now considered by most as a legit top 25. He also beat a prime Arreola who is considered by most as a top 10 and a viable contender for Wladimir. Don't forget his KO win over tough HW Vinny Maddalone. McBride was a stay busy fight against a giant.

Solis was/is considered a future titlist. Even a fat Solis was able to beat a top 25 in Austin. He also beat Welliver(fat), and Barrett along with Drummond. His win over Welliver, Barrett, and Austin all within his first 20 fights earned him his shot.

Shannon Briggs was a voluntary defense after Vitali had gone down the list of availables and couldn't find one willing to make the date. Also, Briggs EARNED a shot at the WBO title by beating Liahkovich in 06 or 07. He then fought well against Iggy(a legit top 5 at the time) and went on a comeback mission stopping each Cclass opponent he fought in dominating fashion. And there weren't any other contenders who would fight him at that time and risk their own potential payday later.

Sosnowski, I'm with ya on that one. He was the EBU titlist I think and Vidoz is on several decent HW's resumes. At the time, most considered Sos a legit top 20. But I don't think he deserved the shot ATM.:nono
