He's disciplined in his technique. Ortiz isnt wild like Pacquiao and he's not going to put himself out of position like Pacquiao.

Lets be honest. Pacquiao is weak technically. Nacho said it best, Pacquiao was more dangerous as a purely wild fighter. Now that he tries to slow down, he's worse becuase his technical skills just arent up to par. He had to get wild against Marquez to land.

:nut It doesn't matter if he's a better fighter, it comes down to styles. Styles make fights. Who was a better fighter, Norton or George Foreman? Who got their ass kicked by Ali? And no Floyd is not miles better then Marquez in every area. Marquez is a far better combination puncher. Has a better variety in his offense. Better chin, better heart.

thats the thing..if pbf is miles better than jmm and ops to fight in the pocket...he might just get proper ****ed....

the moment you think you're strong is the moment you're at your weakest...just ask cotto and hatton...they think they can overpower pac...they got mowed down...jmm knows this thats why he back pedalled most of the time....

Nacho said it was to their advantage because a technical fighter is easier to read than a wild fighter, not because Pacquiao has no skills. Honestly.

He has good feinting and counterpunching. Pacquiao is good enough to be at least on even terms with Marquez, P4P #5 when he applies his physical traits well enough. Ortiz got outboxed by Peterson, theres no comparison. Marquez has a higher opinion of Pac than you do, and I'd probly listen to Marquez over you lol

Yep styles make fights. Pac has lost 4 fights to right handed counter punchers. And what is Floyd?

The only viable thing you could come up with is that Marquez is a better combination puncher. Considering Floyd has never been down and Marquez goes down in all his fights, except a welterweight Pacquiao, :rofl chin is uo in the air. Last time Floyd was hurt is when he took a flush right hand from Mosley. I think a flush right hand from Mosley puts lightweight Marquez in the hospital.

As for heart that is nonsense.

Now combination punching, Floyd doesnt need to throw massive combo's becuase he is more accurate then any fighter possibly ever to fight.

    But when he does.

Sorry but thats not what he meant. He meant specifically Pacquiao was easier to read. Not that reading a technical fighter is easier then a wild fighter. He was referring to Pacquiao.

Pacquiao is on even terms because of his speed and strength. His technical ability is average against average fighters. Downright awful against counter punchers.

So bacause they're both right hand counterpunchers , they have the same styles? :nut Your making too much of a generalization. There are 100 different kinds of defensive fighters as their are offensive. You need more then just a right hand to beat Pac. And didnt' you say a minute ago Marquez isn't a defensive fighter?

Mayweather is at the level he is at because of how smart and adaptable he is inside the ring. Trying to pigeon hold him to one thing is not a good way at approaching fighting him and for Roach/Pac's sake I hope he doesn't hold the same beliefs that guys on this thread are holding.

Mayweather's "habits" are adapting not one particular thing. He fought Judah with a high guard and he fought Ortiz with a Philly shell picking off the lefts with his forearm elbow at distance, not to many people saw that coming.

I said right hand counter punchers. Morales had the same success Marquez did over 19 rounds and they fight nothing alike. Which leads anyone to believe Pac has no answer for it no matter what style its coming from.

Like its been said a million times. Floyd is far superior to Marquez as a right hand counter puncher. Marquez doesnt have the defense of FLoyd, the strength nor the speed. But because Marquez fights on the balls of his feet he is perfect to defeat Pac? Umm no. Go watch how Morales fought Pac. very little movement. Lead with the right. Mostly flat footed.

has nothing to do with "*****s" or "*******s"..it has to do with Floyd and how he CAN AND WILL CONTROL PAC WITH HIS REACH, AND HOW HE WILL BE ABLE TO HIT PAC WITH COUNTERS WHEN PAC "RUNS IN":deal
