IMHO, Morales is a smart fighter but his disdain for Barrera got the better of him.:-(

Honestly Pac is a puzzle not easily put together. When he beat MAB, when MAB was at his best....PAC was still very much a 1 handed fighter with limited offensive/Defensive skills. It was the other talents....and talents in abundance that allowed him to compete and beat fighters far superior than him in terms of skills. Speed, explosiveness, Power and reflexes were on anther level than his peers and even to this day.....but now PAC is a very soild fighter all the way around the board and still enjoys the talents that enabled him to reach the top of the sport of boxing.

Pacman beat the same version of Morales just one year later by TKO in the 10th round, no one ever stopped morales before. Pacman got his revenge, fought a much better fight against the SAME opponent in the rematch.

Yeah, shame Morales was already past his prime when he beat Manny in the first fight. The Raheem fight...well...says it all really.
