My thoughts exactly... Makes me laugh when they talk about beating a prime Barrera too... makes me wonder if they had ever seen Barrera fight previously because that version of Barrera was not the one that went 36 rounds with Morrales... but then those 36 rounds is probably the reason why. Neither MAB or EM were the same after the 3rd fight

MAB has been called past it in pretty much every close fight or fights he loosed. Reports said Naz thought MAB was slightly passed it after he lost a close one with Morales, he was called past it when he lost to Jones, he was called past it when he lost to Pac, he was called past it when he drew with Juarez...its all too convenient. MAB was a prime as ever going into the Pac fight...Pac surprised him and blitzed him. And yes a 122 MAB is gonna look different from a 126 MAB...doesnt mean he's past it by any means, just a different style at a different weight at a different age. Prime is measured by performance, during that time, MAB put in his best performances BEFORE AND AFTER the pac fight.

And The Pac-MAB fight occurred before the 3rd fight. Its always the response isnt it, have you seen "so & so" fight prime...well duh...yeh. Maybe we just analyze fights and fighters a bit different than you eh?

If you honestly believe that you are either deluded or haven't seen much of PRIME Barrera... Tszyu was P4P No3 and had KO'd Sharmba Mitchell in 3 rounds 6 months previous to fighting Hatton... would you give Hatton the same props for that fight? I know you wouldn't because i have heard you play down that win before... Tszyu was past prime ect ect... what's good for the goose....

lol thats BS. I have often called that win one of the best of this decade.

Difference is though, Tsyzu was coming off an injury, 2 year layoff and a win over Mitchell, following the loss he retires. AND I still give Hatton mad credit. MAB was coming off wins Hamed, Tapia, Kelley, Ayala, Morales....lost to Pac, AFTER, he gets his most convincing win over Morales(who goes on to beat Pac), Juarez, Peden and goes on to give JMM a very good fight 4-5 years later!! You dont go on to beat Erik Morales in 12 hellish rounds, convincingly, an Erik morales good enought o beat Pac and someone be called past it. lol. Just no.

    BIG difference mate.

A younger more reckless MAB would have gotten knocked out quicker against Pac. There's a reason why Morales didnt fight pac the way he did MAB, and MAB in the 2nd fight for the 1st time in his career gave a broing fight by running away.
