Come on the guy (Verno) collects social security, and I doubt he has had a big pay day in his life, we should be glad for the guy. He is going to get beaten by the next young whippersnapper he fights, but at least he'll make some loot in the process before he goes back to his retirement home. Stinks is still young and he has already made more money than he ever should have given his style and talent. And he'll be back, I mean I don't think he will squander away all his cash like his father and end up cleaning up **** in his latter years. So all and all we should be happy of the decision tonight. :good
Campas is a likable hardworking old vet too, but I wasn't happy at all for him when he got a gift decision over Norberto Bravo.
I'd be happy for him if he actually won the fight, but he didn't and anybody who thinks he did needs to go and watch the fight again. Spinks was mugged. He won 8 of the 12 rounds in my eyes, Phillips 3 and one i scored equal. Disgusting decision.
See that's the difference, I was happy for old ass Nate Campbell. He went in there and won fair and square against Baby Bull. But when 9-10 atleast ESB's are scoring the fight WIDE for Spinks (not a popular fighter on ESB at all either), then how can you be happy for that?? Robbery is robbery, be it a belt or a bank.
