Why can't people just accept Judah has stamina problems?

Why do I have to continuously read that he doesn't train, doesn't take boxing seriously and is a wasted talent as to why he gasses out after 4-5 rounds? What evidence is there to back this theory? People really believe that Judah didn't train properly against Mayweather and Cotto? Fights which, if he won could have made him a megastar :rofl

We've accepted Jermain Taylor has a stamina problem, so why not Zab?

  2. I've accepted it and moved on...

    Is this really thread worthy?

Exactly! Good thread. People always come out with the whole 'Judah isn't motivated' or 'With a bit of dedication Judah could have been great' and finally 'Look what he did to Floyd in the first 4 rounds'. The truth is, Judah's stamina was awful, he had a mediocre defense and didn't kow how to stick to a gameplan. If a fight went past 6 rounds. Judah would be tired, he would be getting hit, and he would have know clue how to deal with his opponent. Precisely why he has lost to every good opponent he has faced. He barely got past brawler Matthyse.

    Yes.

Look at these comments for examples...

"Talented but lacks the heart and dedication. You can see that by how he couldnt stay at 140 and how he sometimes gave up in fights. "

"Probably the most epic waste of talent in boxing so far"

"LMAO u must not know boxing pacquiao is a better fighter because he can outbrawl his opponents but Zabs Boxing skill are far more superior to mannys"

"wish roach had got hold of judah he would of been p4p king "

"Zab could've been great if he ever had his mind straight. He had some of the fastest hands I've ever seen and good power in both hands. Too bad he didn't have the mental fortitude to complete the package."

"Amazing boxer. Wasted a lot of talent though. He could have been truly great."

"Major under achiever! Not saying he didnt achieve a lot. But a man of his talent should still be at the top. where did it go wrong?"

"man, if only zab judah was more disciplined and didn't gas out easily, he would be where pacquiao is. this is coming from a pacquiao fan"

  6. Matthyse is a better boxer skills-wise than people give him credit for. That was a high-risk low reward fight for Judah. Zabdael burns out late in every fight he's in past 6 rounds, but always makes the fight interesting... He can still be a player at 140 IMO.

I've felt that it was more of Judah's inability to adapt that hurt him more so than lacking stamina. He'd get hit clean and then go into a bit of a shell where he looked for one shot to end it, usually his left uppercut.

Also, Judah was hammered to the body by Mayweather & Cotto, so naturally his energy levels might suffer.
