who can get their punches off first?

This is how the fight will be won. Both fighters will be upright trying to spring off straight shots. At this stage in their careers, AJ will get his straight rights off much quicker. AJ wins this inside 5 rounds. If I was to bet, I'd say a fifth round stoppage.

A Wlad counter left hook could end Joshua. But yeah, if Wlad can't pull the trigger at all then AJ probably wins by early stoppage

Don't dismiss the fact that Wlad is fired up more so than ever before; he is on a mission with a intense focus on redeeming himself

Wlads skill ( supreme ring movement and control of distance ) and brutal power will find and drop Joshua mid to late

Don't be fooled by the pre-fight hype. Wlad will go in there unable to pull the trigger like he has the last few years. Not pulling the trigger against Joshua will surely end in a brutal KO for Wlad.

    Joshua fights upright
    Wlad bends a little

    Wla has mastered the jab
Joshua has yet to master the jab

Thats all you need to know

I think stamina/gas tank is huge in this one. If Joshua doesn't have a good one, he could be toast.

Then again, Wlad hasn't thrown a jab with purpose in like 3 years. He flicks it. Honestly, he's reminding me of Shane Mosley 2011.

Flick jab, flick jab, flick jab. Flick jab. Swat at an incoming shot with a jab. Then flick jab again... All he did all Fury fight long. He needs more than that against Joshua, but maybe it'll actually be good to nullify, frustrate, and tire Joshua in the opening rounds.

Super torn on this fight. Gone back and forth extremes with my prediction. Right now, kinda thinking Wladimir gets starched out.

Vlad is quicker than Joshua and is a young 41, he has huge power and great jab, his feet are faster, great balance, not easy to hit, has been in the ring with Joshua before, he knows Joshua. Vlad asked to fight Joshua, not the other way around...............Vlad had his pick....................not sure how the fight will go, but I will not be surprised if Vlad out boxes Joshua like he did in sparring no too long ago. If Vlad beats Joshua, he will knock Wilder out for sure, but I doubt if Wilder will be into the ring with Vlad, as Vlad beat him from one side of the ring to the other, totally out boxed him, knocked him down with a jab, flattened him with a left hook, Parker might fight Vlad, doubt if Wilder will fight Vlad or Joshua for any amount of money.

I am looking forward to all the expert breakdowns on here during fight week. Still undecided which way to bet, might just wait to see what CST80 predicts then do the opposite.:D

I think that Fury's style caused Wlad to be hesitant. AJ will come right at Wlad looking for the KO and could very well get countered hard by Wlad. That's what makes this fight so exciting either guy is capable of winning by knock out.
