Funny how boxing fans actually want there to be more belts... I heard Browne was threatening legal action. And i find it funny how Ortiz vs Scott is not for the interim belt. Wilder vs Browne should be mandated to fight Ortiz. Enough is enough.
Better question is why can't the WBA make a frickin decision on this? First we'd get a decision by Thursday, then Friday, then final decision with everything ratified by Saturday, now were being told Monday. The WBA are coming off as a joke and totally incompetent, which quite frankly is to be expected. Whatever legal wranglings are going on in the background, the WBA's handling of this cluster **** is laughable and ends a year when the division has disappointed and imploded leaving the current mess were in.
I agree with BB here. The WBA is not handling things professionally. Promising to deliver a decision multiple times, then missing your own deadlines. Well they're South Americans, now you know why their countries are run like banana republics.
They dug a hole with the Oquendo bs(i still dont get how a judge ruled in favour of Oquendo) and now they are living totruly regret it.
Scott doesn't deserve to fight for a toy belt, let alone an interim. He had a chance to go diving in Rio.
