Why can't you admit that the Klitschko brothers would give Ali huge problems?

Yeah. ****ing machines against Chris Byrd, Hasbeen Rahman and Tony Thompson:lol::nut:rofl....real Terminators. :nut....more like Robby the Robot. Jerky movements, and repetetive motion, done in a classic Euro "stand up" style. Watch this Saturday when Vitali beats another bum. :good

First he was not clowning, he was in retreat, an he had his guard down alot on the fight, as he does in alot of his fights....

Second, boxing journlist that love ali, tell of the time being in the minutes, your looking at old footage that cuts out part of the time between rounds, now if experts that love him say hes got extra time, then, i got to go with that, so it is no myth,

Third, it was a great punch, but cooper was landing several of those during the fight, maybe the timing, but i could see vitali walking through that punch, an several others, keep in mind that shot you call TREMENDOUS :rofl,,,was good, but it was thrown from a guy weighting 185, so i see alot of boxer walking threw it,,,,I sure that one punch help out Ali in his coming years, as did the sanders fight with wlad.....:hi:

Are you kidding? If you really think they'd be journeymen, then I don't think I should ever listen to you on anything. That's just ridiculous. How would a Jerry Quarry SURVIVE against either Klitschko?

Have you ever had a shoulder injury? I did, and it required surgery. You're ****ing bonkers if you think you can fight well with a compromised shoulder, and of course fighting with that arm might cost you that arm...

I like nostalgia as much as the next guy, but are you guys serious? Can anyone tell me why everyone on ESB hates the Klitschko's so much? Is it because they're white? Because they're not American? What is it? Vitali was embarassing LENNOX LEWIS! He RETIRED the man! Come on, who here would say that Lennox would be a journeyman in the 60's or 70's? Vitali is proven against Lennox, and don't give me "he was starting to lose" ****, I saw that fight, and Lennox was still being overwhelmed. His punches weren't hurting Vitali and if not for that cut he'd have continued to be shown up.

There is no logical reason to put down the Klitschko's. They're hard working, tough, very talented and physically they're as well conditioned as any heavyweight in decades. They're dedicated and most importantly, they're tremendous fighters. Keep putting them down, the jokes on you. How many other fighters made an entire division look weak? Do you really think that the division is that weak right now that guys who would be journeymen in the 70's are dominating it effortlessly? Come on, get your head out of your ass. Those old fighters weren't that great.

I don't even want to discuss boxing history with anyone who thinks post-ban Ali wouldn't have trouble with the Klits or Lennox. If he tried that rope-a-dope **** on Lennox or the Klits he'd be ****ing murdered, because they've got skills George didn't have. I don't worship Wladimir or Vitali or Lennox, but those guys are ****ing masters of the craft and they're tremendous fighters who would have been at the top of the heap in any era. What is Ali going to do when he realizes he can't sufficiently hurt them? Vitali swallowed MASSIVE blows from Lennox, but kept on trucking. Wladimir has never been OUT in his career, and he's taken some big hits. Lennox had a fine chin himself.

Don't bother responding because I've said my piece and I know I can't convince y'all of anything, take it for what it's worth...

    EDIT:
Ali wasn't a superhero, I think you guys are getting a number of times in his career when he was in serious trouble. Henry ****ing Cooper had him dead to rights, FFS. He was awesome, no doubt, but he wasn't a superman. Also, the argument that sports evolves doesn't really apply to boxing as it does to, say, football.

Roberto Duran quit with no injury. Sugar Ray Robinson quit. Julio Cesar Chavez quit.

I bet you have an excuse for them though. Do you consider them great? Warriors? Heartless?

C'mon... show us that patent double standard of yours.

    PS.
Don't forget to lock those caps.

Neither Duran nor Chavez quit when they were up by a tremendous margin going into the championship rounds.

Robinson may have technically "retired" just like Vitali, but Robinson simply could not continue any longer. He was physically incapacitated -- as in, he could not use his legs at all. If you gave Sugar Ray Vitali's shoulder injury, he would've manned up and survived against Maxim in those last 2 rounds.

And of course had Vitali been fighting under the circumstances of Robinson/Maxim, he would've quit after 3 rounds.

It's because they hold wins over highly touted contenders such as Kirk "The Whale" Johnson, Danny "Not Even The Best Heavyweight in Britain" Williams, and Hasim "Shot Since 2002" Rahman.

Ali doesn't belong in the ring with either Klitschko. Show the man some respect. He is very old, and is isn't very healthy. Why would you want to throw him into the ring with Wlad or Vitali at this age?

Why do you keep talking about an old Ali being able to beat the Klitschkos? Ali's prime was almost a half century ago. What's wrong with you? It is you disrespecting the great Ali. You have issues.
