Shane could hit Margarito all night. He couldn't hit Floyd.

    This ^

Maidana is also good at cutting off the ring too.

And when Floyd tried doing clinches and elbows, Maidana in turn countered with his own dirty tactics lol.. Something Pacquiao never really did...

i don't think mayweather ever tried to knee him:lol::lol:

i still give both credit in that fight though, maidana for roughing up one of the most defensive technical boxers ever and mayweather for having to fight arguably the worst style match up he could have had

Maidana had a 17lb weight advantage over Floyd and Floyd chose to engage more instead of using his legs. He won easily in the second fight.

floyd said that he chose to stay on the ropes on purpose in the 1st fight to make it entertainin for the fans.
    we thought that was bull****.

but he proved us wrong in the 2nd fight

Well for one. He was better than he was when he fought Alexander. He had a better trainer. And he got UP for the Floyd fight. Styles was also a factor. Floyd is the kind of fighter who will destroy you (take that how you want haters) IF he has time to calculate and read. Maidana was literally all over him. He was an ANIMAL. He never gave him a chance...well, until he got tired. Then...Floyd did what Floyd does. Proceeed to pick a fighter apart. But, the fight was close.

Broner, IMO, was too small for Maidana. And Maidana outsmarted him. He found a punch that he could land with consistency (that chopping right over top of the shoulder roll) and Broner couldn't really figure out how to avoid it. Broner showed heart. But, Maidana was too much for him.
