Wilder came out with a bronze in the Olympics and was instantly taken on to be raised as a future star (may be wrong but I think only Wilder won a medal for america in boxing that year)

So automatically he was put on a steady diet of people he was supposed to beat and the biggest name on his career Malik Scott was fighting in an elimination match when Scott was coming off the loss to Chisora (I see nothing controversial about the stoppage, Scott could have gotten up but chose not to) needless to say he stops Scott in one of the most fishiest endings to a fight i have ever seen.

Golovkin on the other hand also had a stellar amateur record (beating dirrell and bute) won a silver in the athens olympics and golds in other lesser competitions. now coming from Kazakhstahn he hasnt had the same backing ad Wilder has had being lucky enough to start out in America. So Golovkin fought and beat who was put in front of him until Earning a shot against Felix Sturm who in turn paid to be elevated to super champ as to hold of GGG a little longer. Geale however wins the WBA and is then mandated to fight golovkin so he drops the WBA only to lose the IBF to Darren Barker. I believe Martinez wants to fight Golovkin but its a risky fight and Martinez is coming off a long lay off. Dont be fooled folks the Cotto fight is nothing more than a well paid tune up.

Overall whilst Golovkin came up the way someone should do despite having multiple versions of the world title held hostage he is now a champion and shows some good skills, a great chin and amazing power.

Wilder had everything handed to him without facing anykind of adversary and if he somehow wins the WBC which is no easy task as Stiverne is a huge leap from the other people hes been fighting

Now personally I like Wilder, its just a shame hes been spoonfed when there are others who have struggled and strived to even be given an opportunity

 

On another note whats going to happen after they win? that is if they win

Deontay Wilder could face Klitschko in a unification if he so chooses but has no obligation to but none the less the WBC heavyweight rankings arent as bad as the lower weights :

Your post is false. Wilder has been knocking out tomato cans and old shot names. Golovkin has been knocking out top 10 fighters. When he fought Proksa, people considered that to be a competitive fight.

Also, Golovkin wants to fight the best, but the best are ducking him. Wilder on the other hand is ducking the best. The one thing that pisses me off most is when a fighter with great talent (like Wilder, Floyd, and Martinez) ducks the best opposition.

Sure but at that time nobody knew who GGG is. Well maybe some knew because of his stellar amateur career. With Wilder we are talking about people claiming he is the hardest puncher in history of boxing. Give his opponents to Shannon Briggs and he would be 30-0 30 kos all in the 1st round.

 

GGG has fought immensely better opposition, and is genuinely avoided.

While Wilder embarrass himself calling out fighters and then becoming silent when they call him out on his ****.
