u need to see it from his point of view. 3G has been indoors after his defeat, crying and blubbing for months on end and noone can console him.

think, if he gets defeat again by million to one chance, his confidence will be over as a boxer. thats why he needs a quick stand in tuneup, and even then i am pretty sure he will either switch to an elite before the fight happens, or face an elite immediately after.

You would say "por qué" in Spanish, yeah? That literally translates into "for what" - and that is actually something we do say in English as well, fairly common and more or less interchangeable with saying "why".

I don't see where you make the leap. "For what" seems like it ought to be the default causal interrogative that would feel like instinctively comfortable for Hispanophones learning ESL. How do you even reach "why come"? There's no equivalent structure of phrase in Spanish that I know of. The closest to it would be something like maybe "la razón como" but...who says that? Correct me if wrong, but that isn't a very normal way of speaking, right?
