    He gets his criticism, at least by me. But the key differences are that,

    1. Golovkin has supposedly been a champion for going on seven years, while Wilder has only been champ a little over two years. Also Wilder has attempted to fight the Russian drug cheat a two occasions.

    2. None of the top HW seem terribly eager to taste Wilder's power, and if they get pitted in a corner, as was already mentioned resort to illegal drug use.

    Prime Byrd wasn't ranked in the top 10 when Wlad fought him first , but shot to pieces Byrd was ranked #1 in 2006 when the division was in an embarrassing state.
    Probably the worst period of its existence tbh.

    Then don't act stupid. The GGG hate is largely on account of his ethnicity. That's why you have idiots saying Pacquiao was on PEDs because he has a big dome, but Floyd is clean despite violating WADA code.

    Dino, lets shoot straight here you made yet another asinine statement and were caught lying. Just own up to it. Byrd was rated in 2000 when Wlad shut him out. So were the others so your statement of Wlad only fighting one top 10 opponent like Wilder in his first 10 years as a pro was yet another one of your twisted lies.

    I looked up the rankings for the year 2000 and Byrd did not feature in the top 10. Why would he be? Outside of Vitali his best win was Jose Ribalta , a guy from the 1980's. And the best guy he faced snuff'd him out in 5.
    Beating Vitali for a paper belt didn't get him ranked top 10 , just like Charlie Martin didn't earn a top 10 ranking when he won the IBF.

    In TEN years the only other top 10 ranker Wlad faced was bottom half Derrick Jefferson. It would be 2006 , TEN years after he turned pro that he would face another top 10 ranker and that was the ghost of a guy he had already beaten.
    Come on , they didn't call it the worst HW era known to man for nothing.
