Why come the neck don't commonly get broke when the head get turned by punch so hard in boxing?

    Heck golota had a broken neck from Tyson after round one. He kept spitting out his mouthpiece. His trainer (Lou Duval? If I'm not mistaken) said "I should of shoved it up his ass!" Lol. That would be the only way he would carry on.

    Bones are tough to brake and the head is on a muscled swivel. It's not stationary like ribs which are more likely to be cracked or broken.
