Go look up Pulev boxing record on Wikipedia...

It's a JOKE of a resume compared to whyte... especially in his last 8 fights.

    Dillian ducking Pulev??? Hhahahahahahahahahahahahaha

Was Ortiz calling out Whyte when Ortiz was ranked higher than Whyte? Not as far as i recall.
So Mr Ortiz you had your tilt at the title and failed, you messed up a earlier opportunity to go for the title due to failed drug test, so you had your chances, now ya gotta wait.

Pulev is a better fighter than Whyte.

Compare Pulev's performance against Chisora compared to Whyte's fights against Chisora. Pulev completely dominated Chisora - boxed his ears off, won almost every round. Whereas Whyte went life and death both times with Chisora, needed a gift in the first fight he lost that, and he was losing the 2nd fight too until the KO.

I see Whyte having a very hard time with Ortiz’s timing and straight lefts and Whyte’s best weapon is a left hook, which will be hard to setup on an experienced southpaw like Ortiz. Ortiz’s Achilles heel is a good right hand, which Whyte doesn’t seem to have. That said it would most likely go to a decision, since Whyte is durable and isn’t as reckless as Allen or Jennings. I only see Whyte getting stopped if he were to show up too heavy.

Well that was then... and this is now.... and like I said... Dillian fought the best Chisora. And things DO change over time as Dillian has proved.

Anyways why am I wasting time arguing with a newbie? You could be an alt. I'll give you a few weeks to stick around.

If anyone is overdue and deserves a crack at a HW title it's Dillian.

Over 2 years the WBC have been freezing him out whilst he's still been knocking people over, yet Brezeale is the number 1...

    Give the man his shot.

Well you must have missed the part where Whyte rocked and damaged granite chin chisora with a right cross? Did you see it?

Secondly... Dillian has body shots ergo body snatcher.

Thirdly, Dillian had no problem going toe to toe with the divisions fastest puncher (Parker). And the speed difference was obvious but whyte handled it no problem for 12 rounds despite being overweight.

Fourthly... if you watched Chisora II you would have noticed how extremely fast Dillian caught all Chisora counters putting his right gurard up in the exact split second Chisora would counter with a left hook.

Whyte's defense has improved markedly... I'd be very suprised if Ortiz landed anything worthy on Whyte if I am completely honest.

Whyte is no Dave Allen who or Joe Joyce who block punches with their face.

Whyte knocked Chisora clean out so no he did better then Pulevs SD win ! Chisora was in far better shape both times against Whyte both times to, in the first fight he also had Povetkin as a chief sparring partner which ppl want to ignore.

Pulev is more knowledgeable in shutting down guys but he's not the overall more effective fighter, Whyte poses a more threat to top guys and would get more wins then Pulev would.

You would expect guys who follow boxing to be able to make that connection. But alas, no, it's a duck because he isn't fighting who he WANT him to fight... *yawn* this board sometimes

Most don't follow boxing more then they cheerlead on here but it's usually the Wilder fan girls who don't grasp knowledge on here .

They haven't figured out you can only duck someone if you take an easier fight , avoiding someone is blatantly not wanting to fight for a particular reason which Ortiz actually did when Whyte challenged him in 2016 but I guess Ortiz DUCKED him when he chose Dave Allen instead ? Lol

Whyte is guaranteed a shot at AJ either in April or Sept/Oct/Nov next year. That has been confirmed by Hearn.

So Whyte doesnt need to face anybody at all. He has already beaten 2 top fighters in Parker and Chisora and can now wait his turn.

In what universe is Chisora a top fighter? The guy is top 20.

Comes down to risk vs reward. Ortiz might be a top heavyweight but he doesn't bring the money to match. Sure you could say Whyte is ducking Ortiz or you could say Whyte simply has better options.

A fight with Ortiz would of been less lucrative than Chisora, or Parker before him and a possible next fight with Joshua is obviously a more lucrative and a tougher option. Even if Whyte fights Miller next you could argue it's a fight that financially might bring as much reward as Ortiz but much less risk.

Forgive them, I think it's a reflex action. They see the elderly Cuban man, they find themselves kneeling and then it begins all over again. :(
