Chisora fight made him lots and lots of money while silencing the people that said chisora won the first fight.

Whytes next fight should be AJ or Wilder simple no need to fight anyone else.

 

Whyte ducked him twice. Fought featherfisted (compared to Ortiz) Parker and Chisora. No risk of getting knocked out badly or something and the cards are cooked as always.

Whyte and Hearn know why they didn't fight Ortiz. Two factors: 1) Money. Parker was introduced to the UK crowd vs. Joshua and Chisora vs. Whyte is always a cracker in the UK. So they decided to take the bigger money fights. Ortiz is unknown in the UK and wouldn't sell a ****. 2) Risk. Ortiz would wreck Whyte badly and KTFO him inside 6 rounds i think. Hearn would never let his 2nd best cashcow getting destroyed like that vs. an old and unknown fighter at home.

Smart decision.

But i can't read the **** Whyte would fight anyone. It's bull****!

 

When the PPV numbers come out for Whyte v Chisora 2 you will see why he took that fight as would anyone else.

Plus why is it people on here moan about boxers fighting old opponents yet the same people seem to treat old man Ortiz with his high blood pressure and heart condition as something else.

 

Yep can't begrudge a fighter trying to make the most money. It's a tough career with a limited time frame where they can make decent money, so fighting Chisora was obviously the most logical choice.

Whyte is fortunate he has these options open to him, how many other heavies can headline a PPV vs a decent opponent? He has the luxury many other heavies don't in that he has options open to him that others like Ortiz or Pulev don't due to their lack of marketability.

Some might say Miller and Whyte ducked Pulev too, but let's be real, Miller was being lined up for a title shot for the regular WBA belt vs Oquendo at the time and then Dinu only to have that fight not sanctioned and Whyte of course had a far bigger payday on the line, was already WBO mandatory and didn't need Pulev's IBF mandatory to secure a shot vs Joshua.

So some may call having better options ducking while others will say they are just taking the opportunities they have open to them.

 

Whyte better not fight Ortiz or we might have another Adonis situation on our hands... Ortiz is old and shot, he shouldn't be calling people out.
