Same.could be said for Whyte... Wilder dont want it... AJ doesnt want to jump.on a rematch.

But now all these.losers want to steal Dillians hard earned meal ticket for a title shot..

Miller, Povetkin, Chisora, Parker alll crawling out the woodworks to fight Dillian.

Ortiz last 4 victories - Allen, Martz, Cojanu, Kauffman.
Whytes last 4 victories - Helenuis, Browne, Parker, Chisora.

Enough said. Whyte doesnt have to fight Ortiz for the same reason Miller doesnt have to fight Joyce. They have earned the right as the top 2 contenders in the world to bigger and better things than have to worry about helping out those trying to take the easy road. Breazeale, Ortiz, Martin, Joyce, there is no reason Haymons lads cant fight each other when the Matchroom crew do it on fight by fight basis. If you want a shot, earn it.

Lol Helenius Browne Parker and Chisora. 3 of them were years past their prime and he had to cheat to be Parker. Well done Dillian, you've done well hahaha.

And for the record, yeah Whyte deserves a shot against AJ, but people on here really hype the guy to epic proportions. He's nothing more than a top 10-15 fighter at best.

There was a point in time around 2015 when Ortiz was considered one of the most dangerous men in the division. Since then he's fought a steady stream of bums and fringe-level guys and got himself KOed by Wilder. Whyte meanwhile has got himself wins over three top rated HWs, including former belt holder Parker, whom he beat in more impressive fashion than Joshua, much as Ortiz beat Jennings in a more impressive fashion than Wlad, and which win earned him the bogeyman tag in the first place.

Regardless of who you think would win in a H2H, there's no doubt that it's Whyte who's currently in the best run of form, and Whyte who deserves to take on the biggest money options (which at this point in time means fighting superior names like Joshua, Wilder and Fury, so accusations of ducking are kinda moot). Ortiz is, to my mind, still a top quality fighter, but he needs to get himself back into contention with wins over relevant opponents again. Any one of Pulev, Miller, Povetkin, Parker or Kownacki would do. He does that and he deserves to be in the HW conversation again.

    Well, yes he has, actually.

How do you rate Ortiz's last four opponents? Now that's worthy of something to laugh about.

With wins over who, exactly? What's Ortiz done in recent years to remain relevant?

It originated with his KO win over Bryant Jennings in 2015, who was coming off a closer than expected championship tussle with Wlad. He then went on to brutally stop Tony Thompson, who was past prime at that point but still considered a tough and awkward customer.

    That's it really.

He then went on to outclass Malik Scott in a bit of a stinker that was roundly condemned (though I considered it a decent enough win at the time) and since that point he's been on the bum tour, barring his KO loss to Wilder. At this point in time his star is very much faded.

He's only fought one 12rounder in his last 5 fights and fought David Allen 2 fights before wilder, in an 8rounder. Because that's what top ranked fighters do.

Yeah they're rubbish too but he'd still smash Whyte to bits as well as all of Dillian Whyte's last 4 opponents.

That's all well and good, but the fact is he hasn't beaten anyone remotely on that level for years, and doesn't deserve to be talked about as a top HW until he does.

Disagree about that but yeah, it's the problems you face when you don't have a great promoter behind you. I don't like Eddie Hearn but he has done a great job promoting Whyte where as Ortiz has had problems with promoters for years hence the poor opposition but still showed his class against Wilder despite Wilder's power bailing him out of trouble in that fight. If it weren't for Eddie, we wouldn't be talking about Whyte like we are now imo.

You probably have a list of fighters in your head that would beat dillian... well guess what...nobody ****ing cares except you.

There is a ranking system and it is based on who you fought and who you beat. Dillian has climbed that ranking system used globally....

And now he is on to a title shots.

So nobody gives a **** about your fantasy ranking and fantasy match ups. Dillian is winning either way... and you are sat here crying like a *****.

You probably thought Dillian would lose every fight he was in... I shud dig up some posts on you.... to show how much of a hater you really are...

Weak ass boxing fan. I backed dillian from day 1.... looks like it was a good call.

    Keep sucking that Ortiz dick

TOP 50 KNOCKOUTS 2018 .... GUESS WHAT RANK DILLIAN IS???

No we probably wouldn't, but that only highlights the importance of a good promoter and a fan friendly fighting style. You can't downgrade a fighter for being well managed unless it's clear they're a hypejob, which Whyte most certainly isn't, just as you can't upgrade a fighter based on what you think they could do given similar opportunities.
