Some of you guys are out of your mind... -Cotto didn't lose because his strategy was bad; rather, it was the perfect strategy coming into the fight(imo, in hindsight it isn't tho) -Cotto didn't lose b/c he didn't punch to the body (margarito wouldn't let him punch to the body) -Cotto didn't lose because he wasn't strong enough or prepared enough physically for this fight (I honestly think this is the best Miguel Cotto has ever looked and I'm a huge Cotto fan) No, Miguel Cotto lost because of 2 reasons. 1. He could not hurt Antonio Margarito. 2. Antonio Margarito was relentless. He wouldn't give Cotto a break for 10 seconds!!! It was unbelievable; A top notch Miguel Cotto couldn't break Margarito; in fact, he couldn't even come close despite a valiant effort. So, who could?
If margarito fights like he did yesterday then i dont think any current welterweight boxer can do much damage or even win, maybe only Paul the punisher williams, but i dont think he can beat the Margarito of yesterday, definately the only way you can win against Margarito is on Pts, and mayweather may be the only man coz of his chicken style and pop shot and tremendous defense.
