So do I. Don't forget Cotto was rocked by Corley and nearly taken out by Torres. I could see Floyd stopping him in the later rounds. :nod

Yea dont think so. Collazo had Hatton in trouble in the last few rounds of their fight and he is rather feather fisted. Cotto has gone against some hard punchers like Judah and Torres. Not to mention Mosley who is pretty strong in my opinion. Cotto would destroy Mayweather.

People were saying he would be too slow for Mosley. Why wasnt he too slow for Judah who is as fast as Mayweather.

Cotto is just too slow to beat Mayweather. Mosely was fast, but not the complete fighter PBF is, and he should have gotten the nod against Cotto. Floyd would box his ears off.

Ricky showed a better defense than Cotto did against Mosely. Easier target too.

Cotto does have the best chance at WW along with Williams IMO. But PBF will be the favorite.

Howeve, it wont be as easy as with Hatton. Hell, it wasnt as easy with DLH.

cotto is a great fighter but if this fight with hatton is any indication, he cannot beat floyd as he will keep eating the left hooks on the way in. Still, this is a match that needs to happen--for our sake of course as fans

He doesn't run in though, hatton isn't in position to punch he literally runs up to people and grabs them. Cotto stalks and applies pressure the right way, and his feet anre always in position to punch.

Why do people say Cotto is slow. DID YOU GUYS NOT WATCH THE MOSLEY FIGHT!!???? he was almost as fast as Mosley. People understimate his speed because of the focus on his power. Cotto has it all. He can even fight going backwards as he proved against Mosley.

Floyd beats everybody from 154 down. And I would say his hardest fight would be against Shane Mosley, Cory Spinks and Paul Williams.

Why do people keep sayin Cotto is too slow to beat _____? He was too slow to beat Judah, too slow to beat Mosley, and now too slow to beat PBF.

Cotto dominated Mosley. The rounds that he won were clear, the rounds that Mosley won were close thats why the fight was close on the scorecard but the war was won by Cotto. And I dont wanna write how he treated Zab Judah because it was gruesome.

    1. Cotto has a worse chin than Hatton.
    2. Cotto has no footspeed, and he doesn't wrestle.
    3. Cotto slugs and has no defense.
    4. He also boxes, but is nothing extraodinary as a boxer.

I think Mayweather would beat Cotto and it would be easier than Hatton. Hatton was a problem because of the footspeed and the wrestling.

And stop talking about Mosley. Mosley is 36 years old, for **** sake.
