Mayweather even though I can't stand him definately pulled it off tonight. He koed hatton when I did not think he could. But he is no where near an all time great fighter if he lets a smaller guy like hatton do to him what he did get done. Not taking anything away from him, he is respectful after the fight and did exactly what he was suppost to do. In my opinion it is all in mayweathers hands, if he wants to be reconized as a truly all time great then he can't retire and only needs to win 3 more fights and nobody will be able to say he is not an all time great. cotto margorito williams cintron mosley. if he beats any three or four of these fighters he will go down in the top 5 all time greats no matter what my opinion or any one elses happens to be about him.

Cotto's boxing skills surprised me against mosley but he's still too primitive to beat floyd.

    :blood :blood :blood

It was a close fight and many think that a 36-year old Mosley was robbed.

Cotto can adapt to Mayweather's style and put pressure if necessary.

After watching that performance I don't think there's a boxer in the world today that could defeat PBF.

He will retire undefeated I am certain.

With Corley: He was trying to show off in fron of his hometown and got caught stupid, so rule that out

With Torres: the guy got 28 KOs in 33 fights , he gots power :bbb so yes hes the one who actually hurt cotto,

Cotto is more fundamentally sound than Hatton and he has a good jab.

16,000 post on the internet and not a single unit of knowledge on the sport of boxing, that sucks for you. Re-watch the Mosley fight, it contradicts everything you listed.

i'd like to congratulate floyd on the big win, I always had the feeling if Floyd warmed up and put punches together that he'd get a KO.

As for Cotto, I think he is the only shot to beat Floyd.

Paul Williams Who? Doesn't deserve to fight Floyd, Ever.

Cotto and Floyd would be a completely different fight don't even use this fight to predict outcomes because it doesn't even make sense.

Learn to read the whole post. I said he won the war but if you score round by round it was very close. Mosley won his rounds by a slim margin, Cotto won his rounds clearly.

Shitty post. Dont know why people keep saying those ******ed things such as Cotto has weak chin and no defense. If he had a weak chin and no defense fighters like Judah and Mosley would dispose of him within couple of rounds. As a boxer he is really impressive, watch the Mosley fight, he outboxes Mosley . Cotto boxes not slugs. Cotto odsne twrestle you are right about that, he fights and he destroys.

whether he can beat floyd or not remains to be seen but it is the fight that would truly show how good floyd really is. i stated before tonights fight, like many other posters, that cotto is the true challenge for floyd. if this were 1980 floyd would be the champ and cotto would be #1 contender. if you got rid of all the bull**** belts then floyds list of fights against the #1 contender would be very short and that is not how the all-time greats went about their business.
