I've heard he is in fact in the UK to fight Chisora ... he's just stopped off at Haye's place to pick up a tripod and a bottle of Desperados.

You're kidding right?? Everett "Bigfoot" Martin was a far better fighter than the stiffs that Wilder has faced. :yep And Martin didn't put Wlad on the canvas either. Dustin Nichols and Harold Sconiers - both far worse than Martin - did do that to Wilder.

Even the opponents Wilder has faced that were better at one point in their careers - Harrison and Liakhovich - were way past it and arguably at Martin's level or worse when Wilder faced them.

I've been following boxing for 35 and Wilder has fought the lowest level of opposition possible for MUCH longer than any prospect I can recall. There is a reason for that, and it's found in his fights against Nichols and Sconiers. He can't take a punch, even too well from stiffs.

Top level opposition will DESTROY Wilder, and his handlers know it.

They talk like this guy is a top 10 fighter

He is British level just like Price just like Harrison, just like all the others. I think they have to hype him since Haye fought him after he had lost 3 fights in a row :rofl

The better challenge for him would be against Haye
Haye knocks out Chisora in five rounds

    Why the Complaints?

Chisora is top ten, so he's world level regardless of what you say.

but it could be worse. he could be American level. and we all know what that term means, and have done for years now... it means they're genuine stiffs.

3 Brits in the top ten. 0 Americans. keep the empty hype going. that's all you're good for these days. :yep

Both fighters in this hypothetical match up are black and of African descent - literally no race issue here :huh

It's very possible that Wilder would know out Del Boy. Chisora is not very good. He doesn't throw enough punches, and when he does, he lacks proper technique. Wilder is still learning. It's pretty easy to see that. His handlers are bringing him up slowly, and there is nothing wrong with that. He looks to be ready for better opposition, and I'm sure that will happen in 2014. He is a very good prospect, though, with more upside than Chisora.
Going to England to fight Derek doesn't make any sense, while sparring with Haye, and getting in some valuable training with a good fighter does.

This is why I visit BN24, to keep up to date on the sport

Saying DW is being brought along slowly is like saying Dustin Nichols is kinda chubby or that Harrison is sorta shot :yep

DW is being brought along like molasses in the Winter :deal

Chisora took punches from Vitali, and couldn't take punches from a ex cruiserweight. Does he have a suspect chin?

Don't ever elevate Chisora to any status when talking about Wilder. Wilder is untested. We can guess about his chin, and until he is ko'd, we can guess. There are no glass jaw specialists on this forum. I call them guessers. Chisora's pu$$y ass got glussed, and he got his punk ass knocked out-by the same dude, lmao.

He still needs work. I think he'd beat Chisora, though. Derek has 0 boxing skills. Deontay is learning and while he may not have a great chin, he can always learn how to defend.

Chisora is loads better than any of the stiffs Wilders handlers have dragged out of the gutter. Chisora may not be a hard hitter, but he has more than enough power to stop Wilder. Wilder was dropped by and badly hit by Harold sconiers for crying out loud! Chisora would knock this glass jawed beanpole out cold!
