Why couldn't AJ do this against Usyk like he did Pulev?

    Has Pulev Usyk's master defence?

Pulev was actually not even properly fit for that fight. He was recovering from Covid still. So not only was he 40 years old, he was actually not physically fit. But I suppose since he'd already pulled from the fight the first time with injury and this was the last chance, he fought.

It's a little hard to know what Joshua will do in the Fury fight because since losing to Ruiz, he's run away from an obese Ruiz II, beat an old and Covid-hampered Pulev, and lost twice to Usyk.

Fury in recent times almost got KO'd again by Wilder and then beat a possibly CTE-compromised Whyte, then wanted to fight Chisora again and seems like he might even be avoiding Usyk.

So who knows what to expect from either these days.

Usyk was there for counters. Every boxer that's lived or boxed has been there for counters. Your opponent has to be in a position to counter.

Usyk didnt always step around Joshua he did actually walk straight in behind a jab and his lead left but Joshua either covered up or took two big steps backwards. Either of those stops you from getting hit but doesn't help for counters if your gloves are covering your face or your too far away to throw a counter.

And the Martin stoppage was premature.

You mean besides the fact that Usyk and Pulev are COMPLETELY different fighters in terms of attributes, skills, and styles?
