Why couldn't Bowe do to Golota what Lewis and Tyson did?

I agree. I always found Holyfield's performances in the fights with Bowe to be so frustrating. If he simply just boxed he would have won those fights. Bowe always struggled against jabbers.

I stopped reading right here. Bowe was a bigger puncher than Lewis? I can tell from watching the only time they ever fought the referee had to save Bowe. Insert excuse...Thanks I haven't laughed like that in a long time. I guess that means Lewis had a much better chin than Bowe since Holyfield couldn`t put him down.

Bowe had a short Prime and part of this was due to the fact he did not like training. His trainers had him in superb shape for his bouts with Holyfield. He looked in fantastic condition. For both bouts with Golota physically he looked like crap whether it was staleness or some other matter I do not know. His performance in both bouts I always believed was due to his being apparently weak and physically unprepared.

Lewis is never one of biggest puncher. His size is the reason why he scored some great knockouts , the most important aspect is his punching accuracy which no doubt one of the best.

You look at his how many punches he landed to Bruno, and Bruno was still standing. Fought Mccall twice and never hurt Mccall in any occassion even when Mccall dropped his hands in rematch. Couldnt stopped some of his smallest oppenent like Tua and Holyfield. His best upper

However, his victory and knockout against Tyson , Rachman , Ruddock shows how he has such an accurate right hand and jab.

The old adage, styles make fights and Bowe would always have struggled with Golota regardless, just as he did with Biggs and Tubbs and Lewis did with Mercer and Holyfield and Ali with Norton. That's boxing for you....

It wasn't the Golota fights that started Bowes decline.Try 3 wars against prime Evander.
