why couldn't GBP push the mosley-floyd fight?

It's simple. They know Shane has a much better chance of beating Cotto than Floyd.

 

You said it, they could have if they wanted to. I'm starting to think GBP and some that may not seem in his inner circle are indeed nothing more than a big ****in circle jerk. What I mean is, IMO him, Mosley, PBF, and maybe even Hatton all sat down somewhere and said "for us to make THE MOST MONEY, here's how we're gonna play it all out." As some others have suggested, and don't get me wrong I was rooting for PBF, I'm not sure Oscar's only goal in fighting PBF was to make shitloads of dough for GBP, not really giving a **** if he won the fight or not, because he was satisfied long before the first bell rang. Just a crazy "first thing in the morning" opinion of course.

 

It would have been nice if they set this up as a 4 man tournament. Maybe it will end up being that way.






Or maybe not.

 

They know Hatton is a cash cow and Shane can fight Floyd after he puts Cotto to sleep. As far as the slap yourself part...........whatever.

 

Stop being silly man. I'm talking about the way Oscar is looking at it. Why would I care about how much dough any of them make? Nobody at 147 can beat Floyd and I want to see him embarass every last one of them.

 

Well in some respects it could be the money, the insults or the fact that pbf didn't fight the best 140 pounder before he moved up.

 

How many different ways do I have to tell you he is fighting Hatton because it will make him a ton of money and Oscar signed off on it too because it will make him more than fighting Shane? He can fight Shane after Shane beats Cotto. What are you not understanding?
