He's a part time fighter in the sense that his primary career right now is being a politician, not a boxer. If he wasn't getting paid so much he wouldn't even be boxing anymore.

it's not weird. Pac had just fought Cotto at 145, Clottey at 147, Margo at 150 and surely figured he was starting to get more and more confident taking on these bigger guys. I think he realized at 150 he was seriously outsized even though able to overcome it.

Either way honestly even if they were to fight at 154, Pacquiao is just a bad match up for cotto, yeh he does have a new trainer and fights at 154 and first few rounds will be competitive but cotto is easy to hit and gets his face busted again. Styles makes fights. Cotto fans and mayweather fans make it out like he is a beast at 154 who fought the best fighters in that weight.
