Davis is gloryfied latley, but I dont see him with bigger names.

Also I feel like he waited Haney to go out of the division, so he can shine. Why not fight Haney when he was there.

Because Twink has been shamelessly and irrefutably ducking Loma like crazy for like seven freaking years or something now even though the fight would be in his country with a home ref and three home judges to rob Loma blind if he doesn't knock Twink out and he's bigger than Loma.

And even Twink's grubby little ass kissers know damn well their boy has been ducking him like crazy all this time because it's completely undeniable.

Floyd nixed that fight, at the time Tank was nowhere near ready for Loma. It's true he simply wasn't, Loma would've spoiled him. So yeah it's definitely the fault of Tank's side that the fight never happened.

I think at this point if they fought, Loma would have a hard time.

Tank's never fought anyone close to Loma's level - he's a 29 year old prospect wasting his prime on third raters.

Loma will fight anyone, regardless of whether he's got disadvantages - and he's not terrified of potentially losing.

Tank isn't fit to lace Loma's boots - one is everything a boxer should be, the other represents everything that's wrong with the sport in the present era.

It could've happened anytime during the last seven years but that petrified little oompa loomp was too busy playing the WBA regular strap season collecting game, fighting bums and ducking Loma like crazy.

Neither he nor his babydadda Floyd clearly had the slightest bit of faith he could ever beat Loma in a million years or rather at least not until Loma was a million years old and to be fair they have both been very open about the fact they were waiting for him to get that old

Remember when Floyd and Twink were beefing and Floyd threatened to make the Loma fight in order to scare Twink? :risas3:

Devin Haney 2020: ''Loma is too old too slow''

Tank 2019: ''Loma an old man. I'll retire him''

Floyd 2019: ''Lomachenko needs to fight as many fights as possible, extremely quick!, because he's very very old''

Loma was very very old in 2019 but Floyd still wouldn't contemplate putting Twink in there with him. Even when Loma offered to fight him for free they still wanted zero smoke.

Twink is cut from the same cloth as his babydadda, Fraud. Let's not forget that he has slapped rehydration clauses on Ryan and Barrios because them weighing 1-2lbs and 5-6lbs more than him was too much of an unfair advantage for him to have to overcome even though he supposedly knocks out HWs in the gym and they would have to spark him out cold to come away with a SD loss.

I don't know. Tanks lack of activity and avoidance of top challenges may see him start to regress.

Wasn't ready for him? He was a title holder claiming to be the best in his division.

He's 29... Easily forgotten, as a still protected prospect - I reckon most would guess he's more like 25.

For a fighter who should be in his prime, its a pretty poor show... He's arguably already wasted those formative years where progressive matchmaking should allow a fighter to develop into their potential.

But then that prompts the real question, doesn't it: Does he actually want to be the best fighter he could be? Or does he want the reputation and pay without taking the risks?

With respect, it does look rather like the latter, IMHO.

Not sure what's being argued here..............I only answered the question the TS posed (why the fight never materialized). You're both arguing something I don't disagree with and I say that as a fan of Tank's. If you're gonna be great, dare to be great.

As for easily forgotten, 30 years from now everyone from this (current) era will be easily forgotten except maybe Canelo.

They should freeze him out. No top 10-15 fighter should fight Davis. Just refuse and let his career dwindle out. Fk him and their promotion.
