Ok? And? I thought we were done bashing a dude who retired?

Oscar did more for boxing than any of the names you just mentioned so...yeah...what exactly are you trying to say here?

Bull**** and shut the **** up. The man fought everyone there was and was only thoroughly beaten twice by Hop and Pac. No shame at all in that. Look at how many hall of famers he has fought and tell me who currently can match that.

Agree somewhat. He beat some very good fighters but if he was black or Asian, he would not be nearly as popular as he was.

Far more skilled? Shane squeaked out 2 wins over Oscar, one which was very controversial. And Shane isn't close to his prime. His skills have diminished significantly hence why he barely beat washed up Mayorga -- a man Oscar destroyed in half the time.

I'm inclined to agree with you. Above all, I'm just grateful for what he's done for our sport. I could go on about his heart and accomplishments, and some of the great battles he's given us, but what's the point? We all know how the guy's delivered for us.

I'm not salty about 6 losses and how he's lost some big fights. I don't give a ****, I'm still a fan. He's not my favorite fighter of all time, just one of 'em.

This is a stupid thread to a stupid poster that is obviously a newbie. Better resumes? Maybe in a way i guess. Now you saying Oscar never beat an elite? Well wasn't Whitaker number 1 p4p when Oscar beat him? Yes Whitaker was past his prime but still was a very good elite fighter.

Quartey was by far Oscar biggest threat when Oscar was undefeated in which Quartey was in his prime and was an elite level.

Now you got me confuse cause umm after Hopkins beat up Trinidad, Oscar didn't face Castilljo. Oscar fought Castilljo but that was before Hopkins beat Trinidad.

Oscar fought Campus for a tune up fight to prefore for a Mosley rematch.

Oscar fought Sturm for a tune up fight for a Hopkins showdown but i guess you don't remember that. Whatelse is new?

So if you think Oscar is a b + fighter then Mosley, Wright, Hopkins, Trinidad are the same cause just like Oscar, they beat fighters that are b level so they not great fighters either correct?
