Why demand Adrien Broner move up when he can comfortably make 135lbs?

I think you'er taking the words hate or hater too literally. It's used as a slang now and can be interpreted in several ways. You have to understand the nuances in the way it's used. I don't think he was saying it the way you took it. Just saying.:bbb

 

Well, whatever way he was using it he was implying that your only motivation for critiquing a fighter's performance when he wins is if you're a 'hater'.

 

I'd like to see him beat up Burns and then if he can get a fight with Gamboa that would be quality. 140 can wait but it really depends on what Broner does at 135. He can't be taking on bums one after another. It's not wrong for him to do this but I'm not wasting my time watching a big talent disparity in the ring. He has enough talent to be in exciting fights with the likes of Rios and Matthysse. That's what I want to see. Broner should definitely fight the winner of Burns-Vazquez next if he isn't moving up.

 

As long as he can make the weight I have no issue with him staying at 135. In fact, I'd be disappointed if he moved up without fighting the Burns/Vazquez winner while still capable of fighting at lightweight.

 

There are plenty of plenty of people bitching about Donaire size advantage and there were a lot of people doing the same for Margo and Williams. At that point of time there were 3-4 very big WWs though in Clottey Williams and Margo so Margo was not the biggest fighter at the weight. That is the only reason people use to complain less. I would like personally to see Broner fight one more time the winner of Vazquez-Burns and move up. The reason is that there are monumental match ups at 140 for him and he can build a true legacy there while entertaining the fans in competitive fights.

 

I don't know how comfortably he's making 135 when he's putting on 15 lbs over night. Might already be tired of sweating down.

I think he needs to fight the Burns-Vasquez winner and get 2 more fights at 135lbs, what's the point of rushing when he's still developing as a fighter?
I'm in no rush to see Broner up against the 140lbers. I like having him around boxing.

If all one has to say is bad things about a fighter after an excellent performance then it's only reasonable to question what thier real agenda is. Because they want to see him lose. This isn't about making good fights or logic, its about seeing him lose. They never mention Sergio Martinez having to move up. You never hear that **** about Matthysse. Nor do you hear it about Canelo. But Broner, he's been at the weight for 2 fights that means he has to move up now because he's taller than other fighters in the class. Despite the fact Rees was his second option, and Rees was a former 140 belt holder.
