have you seen that fight? dawson put on a clinic. even if adamek wanted to pursue a rematch, his handlers definitely didn't.

 

he had problems to make weight- oficially. I guess that if the Dawson fight would've been closer than he'd go for a rematch. But after losing almost every single round it didn't make much sense.
Looking back in the past it's obvious CW is his natural weight category.

 

Despite having some success in the later rounds, Adamek was thoroughly out-boxed. When you add in the troubles making weight, it's understandable why he (or more likely, his handlers) weren't interested in a re-match.

It's not as if he could make more money fighting Dawson either.

 

I think history has shown that moving up was the right thing to do for Adamek.
He wouldn't have beaten Chad at LHW anyway, and nowadays Adamek is fighting 50lbs heavier and for a hell of a lot more money.

Slick Blackness? No. Adamek got his ass kicked because he couldn't adjust to a Southpaw. He had some success, even scored a knockdown I think, but was otherwise completely dumbfounded. Hell, I wander if Chamber's injurying his left hand and jabbing Southpaw may have actually worked to his advantage. Adamek just doesn't make adjustments, he comes out with one plan and tries very very hard to make it work. But than again, plenty of fighters that don't make adustments in this day in age, a forgotten artform.

Adamek was at the end of the road as a lhw . Had he made it more physical earlier in the fight he might have gotten to dawson and possibly ko'd him . He tried boxing with him and it was the wrong plan . Then he attacked and floored dawson but it was to late

 

You think Adamek ducked Dawson? He doesn't duck anyone. He fights guys that promotor will give him. He says it all the time 'it's not my job job to choose opponent, Zigi does it, I cant fight anyone'.

Grzegorz Proksa all the way man :deal. Too bad he cant admit that his promotors suck and change them. I dont like him for that but still fan of Super G :deal.
