Regardless of what you THINK I was doing (I wasn't patronizing you) You still
didn't respond to the question of "What's your agenda? Because again most
great fighters refuses to admit defeat in close fight losses. What in your
opinion makes you single out Ali when damn near every pro fighter has
    done the same thing?

It is possible that Ali might have landed more total blows (debatable), but the QUALITY of Frazier's punches, the clean powerful meaningful lands - the effective blows, primarily were landed by Frazier. Frazier controlled and dictated that contest. But in Ali's mind, he may have thought he hit him more often, and in his own mind that translated into victory. He also liked to note that Frazier was in the hospital afterwards longer than he was. Of course, Ali emerged with Parkinson's, which Frazier did not. Ali's jaw was swollen and he sounded like he was punchy right after the fight. One of the most brutal fights of all time - its brutality is underrated. Neither fighter ever was the same again. But yeah, like folks said above, champions have huge egos and don't like to admit defeat, and want to drum up momentum for a rematch.

anyone who refuses to admit they lost is pathetic in my eyes not just Ali who I actually like

and nowhere near every pro fighter has done it it’s only certain fighters that seem to do it

I wrote "Damn near every pro fighter has done that". Theirs nowhere in what I wrote where I said every fighter has done that. I will say this, in my now 40 plus years of watching
the sport, and being involved in it I've seen literally thousands of fighters dispute close decision losses. Hell I've done it myself in amateur boxing matches and kumites . It's almost normal tbh. Your singling out Ali as if he's he's the only fighter to dispute a loss sounds more
    personal, or agenda based.

I think a better thread would be about fighters in general that thought they deserved the decision when they didn't. Not a particularly rare thing. I think Frazier claimed he should have won the rematch as well. Could be wrong, but I think I've heard that.

I’m so used to fighters making excuses for losing or claiming they won close (or not so close) decisions that I barely notice at this point. I understand why they do this but it’s nice and refreshing when a fighter doesn’t say any of this and just admits the other guy was better and that they need to make some changes

Recent cases like Wilder and Lomachenko cross the line though, claiming corruption or throwing your trainer under the bus.
