Why did Andre Ward duck James degale to fight Paul smith?

that's weird...everytime I say that ward wanted golovkin at 168 "hunter said he couldn't make ...ward cant even make 168"

which one is it? cant be both ladies...make up your minds...I know that's not the strong suit of golovkin fans....they aren't sure whats goin on or what he/they really want

He ducked Dagale to get a top 5 P4P, undefeated bigger champ in Kovalev! This very act alone nullifies any past ducks in Wards career, for the simple fact, Kov is far better than anyone one dummies mention as a duck. He has nothing to prove, regardless if he's done nothing in the past 5 years! What he did prior to that was top notch and what he will be doing in November should silence his critics!

 

because kovalev at 175 cements more of a legacy than degale at 168.......hows that?

Ward evidently had his sights set on either of the 2 EE 'killers.' Lil' g didn't want it Kovalev did. End of story. If Degale keeps winning and Ward does too, I could see them meeting at a C/W, unless Degale moves up to 175.
