You will say anything to be heard. Hopkins fighting Tito and Oscar were both justified and people wanted to see those fights. You can't compare those situations with the GGG-Brook fiasco dummy. Being American has nothing to do with it, maybe if you got over your inferiority complex you would see this.:hi:

Hopkins was naturally the bigger man. He didn't get **** on because they were big ass household names. Oscar fight was a ****ing farce though.

He's not upset. You're clueless trying to pass off Hopkins as a LHW. When he got out of jail he weighed as much as a LHW. So you're running with that stupid ****.

Doesn't detract from the FACT that Trinidad was a full fledged MIDDLEWEIGHT by the time of the Hopkins fight. In fact, Trinidad was bigger than guys like Hagler and Robinson. Robinson, the greatest MW to ever live, in FACT was a former champ @ 147 - just like Trinidad.

You Bumlovkin nut gulpers really ought to familiarize yourselves with the history of the sport..

Trinidad was better suited for 147-154. The weight he put on to fight at 160 made him even more flat footed and slower.

You can't justify the GG Brook fight and use Hopkins as any reason. Nobody has a problem with the Brook fight. Your boy just criticized Canelo for fighting Khan, negotiated a fight with Eubanks Jr, and when that couldn't get made, he chose Brook.

You don't have to justify the fight. You made all kinds of excuses ****ting on the Eubanks and how hard they are to negotiate. They didn't just pull Brook out of thin air. Brook wasn't getting the big name fights and neither was GG. Here is GG's money fight. Let's see who he wants next. They say he wants Saunders title. What's next after that? If it isn't Jacobs, move up.

ODH and Trinadad were already at middle weight and belt holders when the fight with Hops was penned! There is no hypocrisy! I hope you understand what hypocrisy means! Now if Hops brought up Trinadad to fight him then of course it's the same thing that 3G is doing but, there is a difference!

Question! Was Trinadad a middleweight belt holder when he fought Hopkins?

Not sure why you're associating me with a Bumluvkinite, I've never supported any of the Bum Kings antics in my life, I've called his career to a tee so far. Imagine a chunky Trinidad left hook hitting GGG if he fought in this era? The guy would fold like a lawn chair feeling real power.

For one, I'm not sure why you're comparing Trinidad to Ray Robinson. Ray Robinson was the GOAT for a reason, and Trinidad was not bigger than Hagler, only taller, understand body frame. Otherwise, Trinidad would be bigger than Tyson with your logic. Trinidad Was a WW a year and a half before moving up to MW. The reason why he moved up was that he wanted to achieve greatness, unify all divisions north of WW. The man was so willing to be great, Don King was gonna pit him up against a prime Roy Jones if Trinidad were to get past Hopkins, but Hopkins is an ATG for a reason.

Not sure what that statement proves... Are you really trying to tell me that Hopkins isn't a LHW? :rofl

So how are we defining greatness then? Tito and Dlh won titles at ww. Dlh wins the (lineal) ww title, and then Tito beats Dlh for the ww title(lineal). Dlh wins the lineal jmw title and Tito beats Vargas(WBA) and Reid(IBF) for titles. No lineal title at stake.

Both jump to MW. Dlh wins a title he shouldn't have won, and Tito ko's Joppy for the WBA MW title I think. Neither a lineal champion. Both fight Hop for the lineal MW title. Hop beats Tito wins and becomes the undisputed MW champion and becomes the new lineal MW champion. Dlh loses to Hop for the MW title(lineal).

Brooks beats Porter for a title(not lineal) didn't win a jmw title, and is fighting the MW titlist(not lineal) in GG. GG either needs to beat Saunders for all 4 trinkets to start the new MW lineage or beat Canelo.

So my question(not yo you) is how is Hopkins getting a pass from fans?

Who seemed more qualified to fight for the MW title? Again I'm ok with Brook GG. But people need to stop with the Hop, Hagler and Monzon theories. All 3 fought great former WW's.
