    Maybe Bowe was shot.
He seemed to have absolutely no reflexes from the first round onwards, against a fighter who wasn't exactly fast himself. It looks like he's fighting in slow-motion.
The second fight he was just as bad, and worse because he'd obviously put all his work into making himself light.

Some good points, except i rate big daddy very high on his ability and h2h...

Also golota impressed me more than either Klitschko, he was displaying some very good skills vs bowe, nice all around skill set, doing it all basically...
Outside, inside, defense, jab, combos you name it... Golota did it. Plus some dirty tricks :D

I disagree, golota had fast hands and put his punches together nice... Very few big man was as that fast and good combo puncher

Golota's hands weren't slow but he was getting through to Bowe easily with basic single punches before he started putting together good combos.
Bowe had faced faster punchers and never looked quite as bad. Perhaps against Hide he looked as bad in that regard, but I think Hide was a lot faster than Golota.
Bowe was in slow-motion, he'd been declining for a few years.

he was ****ed. let himself go, sheer lack of longevity and self discipline to get through whatever dragged him down that early in his life.

agree about bowe declining for years... even in the third holyfield fight where he knocked him out, and in destroying jorge gonzales he looked a little sloppy...

nevertheless, he was still a very good fighter and most of the people, including foreman, merchant, lampley were impressed with golota's perfomances... they even spoke of him as the best hw at that time, that's how good golota looked

Brainy boxer, how old are you? hahaha. If you don't understand that 32 rounds with holyfield, and a war with Hide was enough to soften up Bowe, then I don't know what else to sa to you. After that last fight with Holyfield, Bowe was done. You're acting like Golota was beating on a prime bowe. wtf

Bowe pre-holyfield years, or even after the first holyfield fight stomps Golota out. That's like asking why did Mugabi lose any fight after Hagler destroyed his career. Do you think Terry Norris beats a pre-Hagler Mugabi?

bowe also should have won an oscar for embellishing some of the shots that landed directly on the beltline. in the end, bowe was incredibly dirty fighter himself, but couldn't handle a dose of his own medicine.

Bowe was dropped by a left hook from HOlyfield for the first time in his career in their 3rd fight. Rounds and rounds of punishment, along with his eating habits, caught up to him. If anyone thinks the Bowe that fought Golota was the same Bowe that fought Evander, the first time, they are sadly mistaken. He was done.

Because Golota could box and he had good hand speed. Nobody boxed Bowe. Holy tried to slug with Bowe. Bowe when it came down to it couldn't box.
