If you want to give him credit for being crusier Champ somewhere near Gomez who has fought and beaten more Heavys than Haye...Haye beat 1 Heavy who was in the top 50

Is there more meaningless ratings in boxing than Boxrec?

He was linear champ at cruiserweight, ring belt ,WBCWBAWBO champion.Who the **** is Cunningham?Meaningless fight that would be because Haye would`ve smashed him,not as early as Macca but at some point he would`ve of done him.

I never understood that either, do they rate guys based on trash talking all of a sudden?, was his trash talk to Wladimir good enough to rate him #5?, ESPECIALLY ahead of Povetkin who is an active Heavyweight, won a tournament he wasn't expected to win and is officially the #1 contender for the IBF!?!, that was the worse of them all.

David Haye shouldn't even be rated till he fights and proves what he really is as a heavyweight. One of the WORSE decisions I've seen at Boxrec, even though I've seen a lot of funny stuff there but this is the worse for me.

No rank till he proves his activity in the division.

So what bothers you is not where BoxRec ranks Haye at Heavyweight, but simply the fact that they are ranking him at all.

In that case, Ring, Fightnews, and many other rankings are just as bad. (Ring has him outside of top10, but still as a heavyweight, and Fightnews has him at #14 heavyweight)
