Why did Bradley do well against Marquez but struggled against Pacquiao?

yes but come on, a smart boxer technician would not run face first into that punch but if anyone at 147 did the result would have been the same. people come out and say "OMG IT MUST OF BEEN STEROIDS" etc etc.. these people dont know boxing, they dont know ****. iv boxed i can tell you right now i know how it feels to get hit with a shot all night an then RUN INTO that shot.

    it would have ko'd ANYONE!

No one does well against Pacquiao but Marquez. It's just one of those situations where you have that one guy that always has your number.

Yep. Pac has only ever been outboxed by Morales 1 and JMM, probably JMM 1 after the first round and JMM 3 (he boxing well winning until KO6). Pacquaio's boxing skills are sometimes under-rated.

As to the original question, it can be as simple as styles make fights. JMM is a counter puncher and combination puncher, so he does well vs. static or come forward guys. He struggles vs slick movers on the outside, Bradley was a lot faster than him and able to box him on the back foot whereas Pacquaio is a lot harder to outbox with movement in that way.
