In order to sign to fight Khan, Bradley had to agree to stay with Gary Shaw.

Now, for having to disappoint for one small period of time, he's with Top Rank and lined up to fight Pac on PPV.

Lot of people don't get Bradley....becaus he been so poorly promoted. That's about to change.

He did not have to stay with Shaw if he had fought Khan.

You gonna make me go dig up the proof?

It's exactly why the fight didn't happen too, Bradley had been between promoters. It was reported that Bradley's contract was up (obvioulsy, he's with Top Rank now) and that the contract Shaw had for the Khan fight included being back under contract for 2 more years.

Shaw said his contract was time based, ended in June 30th and he did not need to sign an extension but I welcome your proof if that is not the case:good

I do not like Bradley but his move made business sense. Chasing after Pac can double or triple a fighters long term career earnings. Look what happened for both PBF and Pac after they fought the PPV king Oscar. They are Number one and two PPV kings. If I were a fighter, whose career could end at any time the enter the ring, I would rather wait out pac then risk injury or anything else for the fraction of money Khan could bring to the table.

Not to mention that in order to get Pac in the ring he HAD to sign with Arum. If he didnt and went his another way he would have been frozen out of the Pacman sweepstakes.

It so easy for use fans to criticizes fighters for not taking on the biggest challenges but these guys only have a short time to make as much money as they can. So they have to assess all the risk with the potential rewards and do what is best for themselves financially first.

If JMM got the nod that he deserved against Pac, would it have been a good choice to duck Khan?

He wanted to position himself perfectly to land a Pacquiao fight. And he succeeded.

Had he fought and beat Khan, he would've banked 1.5 million or more, been a free agent,
and been in demand for either Manny or Floyd.

Yea he was. Its the reason Bradley stayed inactive for so long as well... They were trying to keep him on the team with that big fight. It was in interviews , you can find them..
