haye doesn't really have the infighting skills. when he's up close he just bangs away a lot, starts slugging. He COULD tee off on Wlad to get a KO, but I just dont see it happening

He tried to knock Vitali out the only way he knew how. A tiger isn't going to change his stripes, especially at the end of his career. He was going for the KO, but he wasn't going to suddenly start bobbing and weaving or something. And I'd say his gameplan was a lot better than, say, Elvin Ayala against David Lemieux.
