Why did Broner move up to WW so quickly at the age of 23.

Not even Floyd who is bigger than him and has a longer reach moved up in weight till he was 28. What a waste of talent.

Broner is getting badly mismanaged. He is not a fully rounded fighter and instead of getting him fights where he can learn different styles without putting himself in deep jeopardy. I think that his team lets him put himself in the hole without challenging him.

He needs to learn to counter punch way better.. The guy has the speed for it, he shows us in spurts that he can counter well, but most of the time he doesnt throw back. I think he should have stayed at 135, took on some real challenges there, and moved to 140. It was way too early in his career to go to 147.

    "Wasted talent." :rofl

Did you not see the Cabbage Beef fight or the robberies: Quintero and Ponce de Leon?

Broner was always sh!t. Just so happens the Fl()mos loved him, but all of them, all of them DKSAB.

  5. That's why you can't have the same trainer all of your life and expect to excel. You have to have different perspectives. Floyd had Jeff, then Rodger, Then his Father in his later years.

Saw both of those fights, he did struggle against Ponce, but Ponce is awkward as hell, and let's not make ponce out to be some bum, you show that ydksab, if you think ponce was a joke back then. Quintero fight was early on in his career. The dude was 23 ffs when he moved up ww, and was 21 against Ponce, and 19 against Quintero. Keep showing your lack of knowledge, by putting down a guy that clearly had plenty of room to grow.

PDL was dragged up in weight to fight Broner. Broner didn't even get close. It was a major robbery. Seriously, I'm telling you Broner got exposed in his career, and you're putting words in my mouth? You don't have a better argument and are obviously a butt-hurt Broner fan-boy. Did you think Broner would beat Porter and Maidana too? Aww... poor little guy lost his lunch money betting on Broner. :rofl

Quintero was, and still is, an ESPN-level fighter. He exposed your boy! :yikes

 Now you're digging at other fighters because Broner goes forth and fights the weakest belt-holder at 147 lbs. He then goes on to take a fight in which everyone thought was a cherry-pick (mainly the DKSAB Fl()mos) only to get epicly demolished by Maidana. :rofl

Oh, Maidana is also getting overrated at this point. Yes, this was the same Maidana that was going to war and getting hurt by Lopez just one fight prior. This is why it's considered an "upset."

Dragged up in weight? LMAO, the dude fought a pound and a half more than his last fight. It wasn't no MAJOR robbery, it was competitive, scoerd it 7-5 for Ponce. Only Mexicans call it a MAJOR robbery, and exaggerate. I'm not a Broner fan-boy, i did pick him to beat both Porter and Maidana though, but it doesn't change the fact the dude moved up in weight way too fast, FLoyd didn't move up till he was 28, pryor didn't move till he was 30+, and they were both far more talented than Broner.

Gomez hasn't even fought a Paulie or Demarco caliber guy. He hasn't done **** in his career, yet people over hype him like crazy. If he went up 2 weight classes and fought let's say a Lemieux, how badly would he get beaten? That's basically the same thing Broner did.

It was a robbery. Only a delusional Broner-fanboy that obviously DKSAB thinks Broner won that fight. You also have to add the fact that Broner was gigantic at the lower weights. PDL was definitely fighting a guy a lot larger than him, especially considering PDL goes back down to take Gonzalez's title at featherweight. Yeah, you are a Broner fanboy. Anyone that thought Broner could beat Porter was a fanboy. Only way you could think that was if Gaymon's draining of Porter would've helped Broner.

Nope, the reason why I picked Broner over Porter was due to Porter clearly not being techinically sound. Brook completely outclassed him with fundamentals, and Broner's fundamentals are far better than Porter's. I clearly stated before the fight Broner will either outbox Porter, or Porter will be too strong and big for Broner, which was the case. I dont expect someone that doesnt know anything about the sprot to understand. You only enjoy mexican style slugfests .
Like I said before I had PDL winning 7-5, but in no way was it a major robbery, only a mexican would think that. Also he clearly wasn't taken up that much in weight since he fought at 1 pound lighter befoer the Gonzalez fight.
