Williams had the look of a damaged fighter. Say what you want, but he does. Getting hurt might have actually preserved his motor skill in the future.

Kirkland was never that good. His chin shatters like thin ice every time it is touched. He's powerful, but oh, that terrible chin!

I still think these fights would have been a nice step up over the bums he has fought. His championship ledger has been scribed with a pen and the finest rice paper.

I know this. Doesn't mean that he can't speak for himself though, does it. The kid is 22 and can speak for himself. How young was Tyson, and he always told you what he thought.

Canelo was ashamed to be Latino that night after the bad sportsmanship displayed by Cotto. He left in protest.

Good on the ginger that he is living the good life. I can't blame him for being dealt a good hand. I CAN criticize him and his handlers for being chicken**** and taking liberties that he shouldn't be allowed to take.

If Cotto was such a big payday, then how is it not a big payday to fight the guy who just BEAT Cotto, on national TV?

At the very worst, all of Cotto's fans would tune in just to root for Canelo.

Plus, you get all of Trout's new fans, and there must be plenty of them.

And, unlike with Cotto, the network gets to promote a fight between 2 undefeated opponents, and they just LOVe to milk that cow.

Seems to me this would be a much bigger payday than fighting Cotto.
