Why did Saul "Escapo" Alvarez attended that fight in the first place? What's his purpose?

Same reason he attended the Ortiz-Lopez fight.
To see his supposed next opponent.

We all know what happened to the guy who ruined thyat big match up for Alvarez....

Something is telling me Canelo will probably try to get someone at 147 to move up at 154. Who was the last 147 guy that won in impressive fashion? I say the "Ghost" is in the run to face Canelo in May:D

Interesting. It could happen. He is a blown-up FW, too! Even better for Canelo.

I was thinking Maidana but he might hit too hard or be too big for Canelo. Guerrero sounds good. Great suggestion, the_truth! :thumbsup

Canelo was standing up when the results were read, he thought he was gonna walk into the ring and stand next to Cotto and yell about the Mexican v. Rican rivalry.

Guerrero is becoming a name especially after his defeat over Berto, calling Floyd out and having his verbal assaults against Broner. They both are Mexican, West Coast, month of May, trust me if Floyd doesn't face the Ghost. Dont be surprised if Guerrero gets a call from Team Canelo and accepts after being shown the big fat zeros.:D

When Trout was announced as the winner, Saul "Huir" Alvarez ran straight to the exit. :D

Canelo's too big-boned to be running the way he does.

If only Canelo could move that fast in the ring .....

That's the best footwork he's ever shown!

If Canelo wants to silence his naysayers for the time being, Trout is the ideal person for him to do it against. He's coming off a big win and is a legit, decent 154 pounder; making him the exact type of opponent that Canelo should be fighting against. I've given him quite a few passes, but he's beginning to take the **** a bit now. A Trout opponent is long overdue.

The fella with the Canelo avatar tried to marginalize the ordeal, but it was pretty clear that Canelo ran as soon as hr knew he would be called out. Literally running from the fight.
