There are two main reasons here:

    1) Canelo's skills

    2) Kovalev being shot

And how can anyone think it was fixed if it ended by a brutal KO? Getting your brain concussed isn't the best way to throw the fight. If Kovalev really wanted to quit, he could have done it after getting hit to the body, even by not a great punch. Everybody would believe him since we all know he can't take punches to the body.

I understand it about as well as anyone on this board, even if I am wrong a quarter of the time.

Are you saying that Krusher was fresh as a daisy and what we saw from Canelo was a masterclass ballet suitable for Robinson? 'Cause that's what I'm hearing from some of these posters. I'm willing to accept that Krusher was a shell of his former self and came into the fight a bit like Sergio Martinez did with the Cotto fight. Beyond that, I think you'd be asking too much of my credulity.

that depends on what you think a shell is. is he as good as hes ever been ? no. is he good enough to legitimately hold the #1 spot at 175? yes, yes he is.
yes, you did see a master class, thats the best canelo has ever looked. this is nowhere near the same thing as the martinez fight, i know, i posted how canelo should go after martinez, immediately after the murray fight, because martinez was shot. kovalev is not shot, even now. trust my judgement, youre way off on this one.

We will see. If Kovalev continues to be a force in this division, then I owe you a coke.

You don’t out on 15 lbs of muscle in under a year naturally. Canelo is either roided to the gils, or never should have been fighting below 168.

He’s been banned for failing a test twice. How one thinks that’s proof of being clean is beyond me?
It’s no big deal and like you say he’s in good company with others who have tested positive and walk round like it never happened.

A lot of boxers seriously dislike him. And its not from jealousy, they just know hes juicing as tests have revealed

No benefit of the doubt given to all above. Scumbags is what they really are. In a sport where 4 boxers have died this year, this is something that has to be frowned upon. Bellew and Katie Taylor have been vocal about it recently but nobody else really can because they are all using PED's. Whyte should be added to that list along with Ortiz. Wont be long before Pacquiao is found out and Joshua on steds is the worst kept secret in boxing. Professional boxing has become a farce

they just tested 2 halves of the same squirt of ****, he wasnt hot twice. it doesnt excuse it, and i shat all over him for it, but it doesnt put coincidental contamination out of the realm of possibility. hes been under very stringent testing for a while now, and he came out and looked spectacular, im giving him whats his.
