I seen some reports of him getting offered 7 million and potentially 12 mill if he won so how come he refused was it because he knew he would get taken out?

bob wanted a contract extension. chavez didn't agree to that...the money dropped to 2 million and chavez said he'd wait until his contract expired.

The offer of 7 mil was only if Chavez extended his contract with TR, Julio didn't duck just didn't want to do business with Arum. Mikey Garcia is going through the same thing and even exposed Arum for his fake guarantees that's he's giving his fighters.

When Arum told him he needs to extend his contract or he won't make the fight. Apparently, that's a duck to the mentally incapable cheering for Golovkin lately.

The second most overpaid fighter in the World ducks out of a fight due to money. Only in Murica!

Yes a 1 fight extension worth 5 million if he lost to Golovkin and 10 Million if he won, Arum is such a tyrant what an unreasonable deal. FFS That's as blatant a duck as it gets.

Chavez isn't the only big name fighter trying to get away from Arum, maybe the guy is just shady and people don't want to work with him regardless the amount offered. I alluded to it in my first post, comments from M.Garcia who's was recently trying to get away from TR as well saying these big guarantees from TR are fake and guys only make a fraction of that in actuality. So who knows how legit they are.

I think that some fighters are ducking GGG mostly guys on the wrong side of 30 but most of these guys closer to their prime like Canelo, Chavez ect.. aren't just business and is Nelo's case a bigger fish to fry 1st.
