jcc while an excellent warrior and even a more excellent legend just had a way about him ..he was shall we say ..coarse?.. a bit of a *****?.. an *******?.. he had his faults MR bodak clearly saw these things in him
I dont know who the hell Chuck Bodak is, but I'll tell you something about Julio Cesar Chavez...... .....he was'nt a fake who catered to the media so that he could get rave reviews....... You ask just about any fan who was privelaged to meet him, they'll tell you that he was so down to earth with the regular fan that he'd joke and laugh with them as if you were part of his group. The man cared deeply about his fanbase, and it was not phony. You listen to Chavez interviews during the latter part of his career when he could no longer win the big fight, and you'll see him express his dissapointment mostly for letting down his fans, and letting down his country. .....a man like that is allright in my book!
mr bodak is one of the best cut men ever in the history of the game! .. come on man step it uppp lol ...
Chuck Bodak was a nice guy. He used to make these rings that he'd give to my dad to give to me. His ring-making, was, well, light years behind his work as a cutman to say the least, but at least the thought was nice. As for Chavez, well, quite a few people in boxing have knocked him for his personality.
Chuck Bodak was also the author of one of the very few instructional books on boxing to be published during the late 1970s and early 1980s.
