Because everybody knows Hatton is a 140 pounder and has no chance to beat Floyd.

In case of Margarito Cintron . . . Cintron is the belt holder by the time the second fight was arranged.

I don't see a double standard here at all, haven't read the whole thread, won't read the whole thread, so on.

This is fairly straight forward. Margo has been trying for ages to get a big fight and nobody is biting. Cintron redeamed his name to a degree so got another shot.

Mayweather on the the other hand is boxing's best and can get any fight he wants. This is all about context people. Mayweather is almost done fighting according to him, and he is talking about taking two rematches against guys he beat while the clear #1 is who he should take.

 

Note how the Floyd fans have no options these days aside from resorting to the dead-horse tired "hate" argument. I expect challenging, meaningful fights from the current p4p #1, who incidentally also has claimed that he is not just the best welterweight of all time but the best fighter ever, therefore, I have mysteriously been "short changed by life." Nothing about belief "A" matches up to statement "B". You guys aren't making a coherent argument.

it seems pretty simple to me, if Hatton proves that he is the #2 welterweight in the world, then there is no reason he shouldn't get it on with Mayweather again. aside from that no one is saying Margarito or cintron are even the top 2 & 3 welterweights in the world, so there is really no reason to make the comparison
