Just follow Mayweather around the ring when he had the height and reach advantage.

Corrales was not exactly a guy who liked to use his height and reach. He was better on the inside anyway.

    One of those style paradoxes.

being the favorite to win and felling it slip can make you drop the best battle plan but i dont think that was his battle plan from the get go. he was forced to fight fmj s fight

He was incredibly weak from making weight as well.

He had the height advantage.....unsure about the reach advantage though. Corrales had short arms for his height....I believe Mayweathers are a bit longer.

Not sure why he employed that strategy though.

Corrales just wasnt that good a boxer. He used it a little better later in his career but thats just how he rolled, he was a brawler, a puncher and good at it.
He could have done nothing to stop Money that night.

Chico was garbage that night. He was on his way to prison and he had severe weight problems. Mentally and physically done. He didn't want to let his fans down by cancelling the propsed fight. RIP CHICO and God Bless his family.

Chico wasnt having issue with weight that is yet another bullsh*t excuse that people try to use to take some of the luster from Floyd. He also didnt know that he was going to prison until after the fight.

Chico came back from prison and still fought at 130 so that weight thing is bs.

he said before the fight that he was going to have to give away the first three rounds just to get close to mayweather. that tells you all you need to know about his plan for the fight. mayweather was just too much for him whatever tactics he would have used

    Agree without disrespect. R.i.p Corrales.
Mayweather was just a cut or two above.
